Kumbakonam Hospital with the characteristic disease. Duration?six months. 23rd October, 1916, 2 ounces of a solution of antimony tartarate (1 erain in 2 oz. of distilled water) was given intravenously. Two days afterwards the surface showed signs of healing. On 30th October, 1916, my house surgeon gave another injection of the same strength. The patient is said to have left the hospital on 25tli November, 1916, almost completely cured.
